The Pioneer Route (yellow) between Zwaanshoek and Hoofddorp leads through the new parks and neighbourhoods of the Floriande district and the brushland in PARK21. This park will extend to Nieuw-Vennep, pioneer country. Floriande has a rich variety of architecture. Among other things, you will pass the Cycladenarchipel. On Goeree-Overflakkeepad, you will see a colourful collection of dream homes next to each other, from a thatched farmhouse and Italian palazzo to an uber-modern villa. The residents can meet 'on the gangway' between Statendam and Brouwersdam.
