The longer Nollen Route (purple) is also rich in water. You walk along the Beverkoog embankment and beside the Alkmaar (Omval)–Kolhorn Canal. The open landscape contrasts beautifully with the greenery of the Nollenstrook further west. Dogs are not permitted. No dogs allowed.
