The Manpad Route (blue) between Vogelenzang and Heemstede connects Leyduin with the Groenendaal estate. Along the way you will see the historic drinking water pumping station and the Ipenrode and Huis te Manpad estates. The latter is located on the Herenweg and was the family home of the Van Lennep merchant family. A memorial obelisk commemorates a battle invented by Jacob van Lennep that never took place.
