Het Ommetje Kwadijkerkoog (blauw) verkent de buitendijkse zuidrand van de vroegere ‘banne’ (het rechtsgebied) Kwadijk, zigzaggend door de noordrand van het opdringerige Purmerend. U loopt terug via de ringdijk van de Purmer en langs het voormalige station van Kwadijk (1884-1938), gelegen op de spoorlijn Zaandam-Enkhuizen. Hier stopte vroeger ook de stoomtram vanuit Edam.
