De Schellingwouderoute (paars) bij Amsterdam-Noord verbindt al het groen binnen en buiten de ring. U wandelt langs de Weersloot onder de A10 door en loopt langs Rust en Vreugd naar het kerkje van Schellingwoude. Vanuit het Schellingwouderpark ziet u de Oranjesluizen in het IJ. De Breek, de Groene Zoom, het Baanakkerspark en de Waalenburgsingel maken de waterrijke parkenronde compleet.
