Als u de Julianaparkroute (oranje) loopt, ervaart u de diversiteit van Hoorn. Vanuit het Julianapark heeft u een schitterend uitzicht over het Markermeer. U komt door het Venenlaankwartier, een wijk van rond 1910 die een van de eerste stadsuitbreidingen buiten de ‘singels’ was. Ook loopt u over de historische Westfriese Omringdijk.
